Update on my Fall Bucket List !

Okay, so once Fall hit, I shared my 2017 Fall Bucket List and I could not wait to get started on it. I said I wanted it done by Thanksgiving, so I’ve got two weeks left to wrap this up! Let’s see how many I’ve crossed off the list so far.

  1. Go apple/pumpkin picking
  2. Carve a pumpkin
  3. Go on a hayride (NOT HAUNTED)
  4. Bake a “Bloomin’ Apple”
  5. Participate in a “Trunk or Treat” N/A
  6. Make caramel apples
  7. Try a “Hot Toddy”
  8. Buy a pink wig
  9. Have a bonfire/campfire
  10. Scare someone (and get it on video)

Okay, so I got a little more than half done, not bad! But, seeing as Halloween has passed, unfortunately a “Trunk or Treat” is no longer an option, so we’re going to have to roll that over. I had to work that weekend and also could not afford to buy all that candy.

Although my boyfriend and I picked a couple pumpkins, we haven’t got around to actually carving them. I’m thinking if they stay healthy through the next couple weeks, I’d LOVE to carve a Christmas pumpkin!

I have all the stuff to make the caramel apples, I just haven’t been in the mood for them, so (my apologies) but I didn’t want to make apples I wasn’t going to eat just to cross it off my list, I am too cheap lol.

I have tried at many attempts to scare my boyfriend on camera, it just hasn’t worked. I’m not that great at it and as my luck would have it…when I actually scare him good, he’s out of camera shot.

Once I tackle what’s left, I’ll post the final results! And maybe draft up a Winter Bucket List too!

I AM SO MAD AT MYSELF.

I started this blog with ALL the confidence in the world, but while doing my research on traffic, advertising, linking and all that, I became overwhelmed and discouraged, and I’m so angry about it. I became so consumed with wanting to make money that I gave up when I realized it wasn’t going to happen tomorrow. So, I’m ditching the idea. If it happens, it happens, but I’m not making it my main goal. I want to build something I’m proud of, even if no one ever reads it. Fuck traffic, fuck advertising, fuck email lists. I’ll get around to all that when I have a better understanding of it. I just want to have fun with this !

Fall Bucket List

What better way to kick off October than sharing my Fall Bucket List ? Every year, every season, I try not to indulge too early. If it were considered normal to put your Halloween decorations up moments after Labor Day, I would do it. Unfortunately, it’s not and so I hold my horses as best I can.

BUT, it’s officially October, which means it’s no longer too early for anything involving pumpkins.

In no particular order, I present to you my Fall 2017 Bucket List:

  1. Go apple/pumpkin picking
  2. Carve a pumpkin
  3. Go on a hayride (NOT HAUNTED)
  4. Bake a “Bloomin’ Apple”
  5. Participate in a “Trunk or Treat”
  6. Make caramel apples
  7. Try a “Hot Toddy”
  8. Buy a pink wig
  9. Have a bonfire/campfire
  10. Scare someone (and get it on video)

I know this isn’t really hard-hitting stuff here, but every year a lot of these things get put on the back burner and before I know it, BOOM! It’s December, the apples are dead, the pumpkins have rotted and I NEVER GOT TO GO ON THAT HAYRIDE ! So, my goal is to get the whole list done by Thanksgiving. Let Autumn ring.

I DID IT !

Hey guys, I’m Stef and I FINALLY took the plunge into the blogging world. I’m super excited to be apart of this community and connect with people from all over. I’ve got a lot going on and a lot I want to get done, and what better motivation than an audience ?! I want this to be sort of a live journal, I didn’t want to select a specific topic to write about when there’s so much to talk about. I’ve got some work to do, seeing as it took me 45 minutes to figure out how to post this. So, wish me luck and follow along while I tackle my late 20’s.
